saying goodbye...

One week to go and it is finally starting to hit me - I will no longer live in Amsterdam as early as next Thursday. It's a bit scary to be honest. Most everything I know at this point in my life involves in this city. My friends, my job, my church, my community, my life - they are all here. What will I do when I don't have it anymore...? This is the question I'm asking at the moment.

Ross is probably right. It makes sense that you would ask such questions, but the adventure is the unknown. Abraham was called to leave Ur and wander the greater part of Mesopotamia seeking for his place... And he could only walk by faith. He was forced to depend on God and keep driving the caravan until he was told to stop. Certainly you will miss Amsterdam at times -- and we'll certainly miss you being here as well. Yet I believe that God will sustain you until you do find your place.

The greatest place to be is in a position where you have to trust God. There is no safer place, no more secure place, than totally relying on God for everything because you have no other choice.
